  • Inner Mongolia Travel and Tours Guide

    • A. Tour Itinerary:

      • Day 1 Arrive Beijing - Upon your arrival in Beijing, our guide will meet you at the airport. You will be transfered to the 5 star hotel for overnight.

      • Day 2 Beijing (B, L, D) - Full day Beijing city tour, vist the TianAnmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven

      • Day 3 Beijing/Hohhot (B,L,D) - Morning sightseeing begins with a visit to the giant pandas at the Beijing zoo. Proceed to the Summer Palace. Take an evening flight to Hohhot and transfer to your deluxe hotel.

      • Day 4 Hohhot/Xilamoren (B,L,D) - Morning program features the Grave of Wang Zhaojun, favorite concubine of Emperor Yuan of the Western Han Dy- nasty, the Five-Pagoda Temple and the Minority Museum. Travel by coach to Xilamoren in the afternoon. Enjoy a music and dance performance in the evening. Stay overnight in a yurt.

      • Day 5 Xilamoren(B,L,D) - Begin the day by touring the grassland and pastures. Visit herdsmen's homes. Watch or join the locals in horse and camel riding, wrestling and archery. Spend another night in a yurt.

      • Day 6 Xilamoren /Hohhot (B,L,D) - Return to Hohhot by coach and transfer to your hotel. Excursions in the afternoon feature the Da Zhao and Xiao Zhao Temples. Dinner is served at a hotel.

      • Day 7 Hohhot/Datong (B,L,D) - Explore Hohhot on your own. Take a train to Datong in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel.

      • Day 8 Datong/Beijing (B,L,D) - Today's highlight is a visit to the Yungang Grottoet. Extending almost one mile from east to west, these fifty-three grottoes house some 51,000 buddhist statues. Visit the Hua Yan Monastery or the Nine-Dragon Wall if time permits. Take an overnight train to Beijing.

      • Day 9 Beijing (B) - Arrive in Beijing in the early morning and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day, at leisure. You may go shopping or join our optional tours. (optional tours are available upon request)

      • Day 10 Depart Beijing (B) - After breakfast, airport departure transfer.

      Above tour cost excludes international airfare due to the airfare seasonal fluctuation. People who want to use mileage plan should contact the Airline directly. However, we will provide international air booking service upon your request. Transpacific flights are among choices of United Airlines, American Airlines, Japan Airlines, Northwest, All Nippon Airlines or Air China. Air fare can be paid by credit card. Credit card form is available upon request.

    • I. China visa:

      Chinese Consulate no longer accepts mail in application. The single entry China tourist Visa fee is $75 per person. To apply for it please fill out the China Visa form, submit with your original valid passport and 1 recent picture. Using FedEx to mail your visa application is strongly suggested. We will mail you back the China visa and your passport via FedEx. Regular process takes 7- 10 working days. Express service is available upon request and additional fee.
